Rav Aharon Twersky Czernobyler Rebbe

Rav Aharon Twersky, the third Rebbe of Czernobyl, was the eldest of the eight sons of Rav Mordechai of Czernobyl, and the grandson of Rav Menachum Nachum, the Me’or Einayim of Czernobyl, his childhood teacher. Rav Aharon succeeded his father after the latter’s petira in 1837. He also served as the nosi of the Rabi Meir Ba’al Haness Ma’os of Eretz Yisrael fund in the Ukraine.
