For this week’s haftorah, we read from Ve’ami seluim until al talmei saday (Hoshei’a 11:7–12:12), and then add the two pesukim of Vayivrach Yaakov and Uvinavi (ibid. 12:13–14).

According to Kabbalah, the earliest time to recite Kiddush Levanah is the seventh day from the molad (i.e., motzai shabbos).
