Earlier it was explained that the Torah is primarily talking about supernal spiritual matters but simultaneously alludes to material aspects. From this it is understood that this aspect (of ‘Lovon‘ in the Possuk refers to a lofty spiritual level of ‘supernal Loven’, and from there a Divine capacity is extended into Yaakov) which is also relevant to the remaining narrative of the Torah regarding Yaakov’s work in the House of Lovon. Yaakov worked with the ringed, speckled and striped sheep which are referred to in the Torah as Akudim, Nekudim and Berudim.
In the spiritual realm (Whence everything then descends below) this concept connotes the three-stage Hamshocha of Divine revelation. The highest level of ‘Akudim’ is a level in which all the spiritual lights are bound in one vessel as one. The next level is of ‘Nekudim’ which alludes to the supernal world of ‘Tohu’ in which the ten supernal Sefiros are as identifiable dots but very much together. Thereafter is the third and lowest level of ‘Berudim’ which refers to the world of Atzilus. This is the order of the Hamshocha of the Seder Hishtalshelus.
