Now begins a new era, relating to the Third Beis HaMikdash and the Geulah through Dovid King Moshiach.
It should be proclaimed and publicized that the present times we are living in are a special era, when all that is left to do, is [to phrase it in the terminology of the Previous Rebbe (“it is incumbent for a person to say in the language of his Rebbe” (Berachos 47a))]: Stand all of you prepared for the building of the Beis HaMikdash with the coming of Dovid King Moshiach.
...Perhaps the reason golus is prolonged for one more moment is because “Hashem longs for the prayers of tzadikkim” (Yevamos 64a), He wants we should pray, request and demand “Ad mosai”... about the length of the golus, and we should request and demand that the Geulah should come immediately – and then Moshiach will come immediately!

Following “Hey Teves” 5747 the Rebbe declared :
WE ARE PRESENTLY IN A NEW ERA: TO BRING THE GEULAH!
