Greeting and Blessing:
I duly received the telephone message about the mishap to your finger, and I was subsequently pleased to learn that it completely healed up, and that you returned to your duties. May G-d grant that you should be successful in your work to bring relief and healing to your patients, and that, at the same time, you should exercise your good influence to bring a healing also to their souls, especially as with the Jew the physical and spiritual welfare are closely linked together.
I will remember, in prayer, your daughters, and may G-d grant that you and your wife should bring them up to a life of Torah, Chuppah and good deeds, in good health and true happiness.
