Eruv Chatzeros

Making an eruv chatzeros allows carrying on Shabbos from one private domain to another (such as two backyards), or within one shared non-public area (such as an apartment building or shared courtyard).

It is customary to renew the eruv chatzeros on Erev Pesach. This year, this should be done today. See below, “Hosafos,” for instructions.
