Through this, we can find incredible spiritual strength, as Rebbe Nachman says: “The principle is that the main thing is to have emunah without any questions at all, and through this a person will be strong forever – in This World and in the Next World, and he will never fall – how fortunate is he!”
Being strong “forever” means that every single day – morning, afternoon, and evening – we have a solid foundation that keeps us from falling. No matter what situation we’re in, through emunah, we can hold ourselves up in This World, which will bring us the greatest reward in the Next World.
Finally, Rebbe Nachman finishes, “How fortunate is [the person who has emunah]!” We have unbelievable wealth at our fingertips. We have everything – we are millionaires! There is a way for us to live a good life of enthusiasm and inspiration in avodas Hashem. We can feel the preciousness of every mitzvah that we do, despite all of the darkness that we’re going through. We must simply believe in this teaching of Rebbe Nachman.
We should be assured that Hashem wants to help us. We should know that Hashem is certainly with us and close to us at all times. And we should have emunah that, as Rebbe Nachman says, “Hashem will have compassion on [us] and do good for [us] in the end.”
