Making Oneself Small, Even When he is Big

Making Oneself Small, Even When he is Big:

Rav Bunim of Peshischa zy”a explains the reason why the word “Vayokroh” is written with a small alef with a moshol of a small bird sitting on top of a roof. Even if the roof is very high up, the bird remains small. So too, even though Moshe Rabenu reached a tremendously high level of kedusha, he remained as humble and “small” in his own eyes as he always had been. Thus, the small alef symbolizes that he still considered himself smaller than everyone else.
