The Peleh Yoetz writes (in Sefer Elef Hamagen) that the words “b’melech timloch “(with salt it shall be salted)” have the same letters as the words “b’machol timchol “(with forgiveness they shall be forgiven). This is a hint that anyone who gives in and forgives others who have wronged him will have his korbanos and his tefillos accepted by Hashem.”
