39. One may use maaser money to buy a raffle ticket from an institution (שו"ת שבט הלוי ח"ט ס"י ) and keep the prize. Some say this is only true if his chances of winning are slim, e.g., if many tickets were sold (שו"ת אג"מ או"ח ח"ד סי' ע"ו אות ב').
