Amazing Tikkunim Every Single Day

The Rebbe's Pharmacy | December 31, 2025

Finally, Rebbe Nachman says: “And even if a person is unexpectedly preoccupied and he doesn’t have any time, at the very least he should learn one halachah from any section of the Shulchan Aruch, even if it’s not the place that he’s studying at that time.”

Of course, we should be careful not to let this become the norm. We shouldn’t let our precious time in this world slip away without achieving the spectacular tikkunim of learning Shulchan Aruch every day of our lives to the best of our abilities. At the same time, however, when we have a day on which we have unexpected obligations that we have to take care of, we should remember that “it’s not all or nothing.” Even learning just one halachah from any place in the Shulchan Aruch completely changes our day and transforms the world around us.

So, we should fulfill this practice with the utmost simplicity. We shouldn’t overthink the situation and get down on ourselves for not being able to do more than we’re able at this moment in time. Instead, we should study what we can from the Shulchan Aruch with the intention of bringing ourselves and all Creation closer to completion. We should strengthen our emunah that each halachah we learn has an incredible impact on all the higher and lower worlds!
