BARUCH SHE'AMAR WRITTEN IN THE HEAVENS

We have a mesorah that the text of Baruch She’amar was written in a note that fell from the heavens to the Anshei Knesses Hagedolah. How inspiring to imagine that we are saying a tefillah authored in Heaven!

In this bracha, we thank Hashem for His creating and sustaining the world, and His infinite mercy upon His creatures. Hashem rewards and punishes all for their actions, and His every judgment is fair. That is what we have in mind when we praise Him with the words of Pesukei Dezimra.
