Having Bitachon takes loads of Temimus, and not thinking all day about possible failures. I was once sitting with a group of Yungerleit, and I remarked that: "I believe that everyone likes me!" And this is a Shita (attitude) i.e., no matter what happens, I feel trusted, respected, and even admired and well-liked. Of course there is a Makom (place) for suspicion, but this is only when absolutely necessary!
Most people are overly suspicious and cautious, and in Novardok they told me that this is because they are so obsessed with Redifas HaKavod and they worry about their Kavod 24/7. They have lots of unnecessary fear, which saps their energy and their potential productivity.
This is a main reason for lack of Zikkui HaRabbim. Lots of Mussar on Bitachon cures all this.
