Regarding the war, it must be clarified that Israel must win, conquer, and establish Jewish sovereignty over the entire Gaza region, which is part of the borders of the Land of Israel. It should be settled with a continuous sequence of settlements, preferably settlements of Torah scholars (as in the past, Gaza was a place of Torah, and great rabbis served as the city’s rabbis). Of course, the situation must not return to what it was before the war, God forbid.
Regarding the hostages, there is enough intelligence information to plan rescue operations while eliminating the terrorists, as I heard from a reliable source.
It should be conveyed that there is a significant awakening from below [i.e., referring to the Jewish population living in the Land of Israel and beyond], for repentance along with real self-sacrifice of the soldiers in the field, etc., but the above [i.e., the leadership, be it political, military, the media, and most importantly, the judicial] has not yet awakened adequately. What can help is precisely the voice of the righteous individuals and leaders among the nations of the world who believe in the pure essence of the Jewish people and the virtue of the Land of Israel, both of which should be consummately whole [i.e., with Jews being those who are such by Torah law and the Land of Israel not being God forbid treated like real-estate].
In addition, it would be appropriate to convey some deep ideas from the Torah regarding the upcoming Torah portions. Most importantly: we need increasingly awaken the desire of Israel’s supporters to connect with the Jewish people and bring together the redemption of the entire world.
