ישא ברכה – Bamidbar 19:14 “זאת התורה אדם כי ימות באהל”
The Zohar Hakodosh in Vayikra 5:2 says on the Posuk, “אדם כי יקריב מכם” – that it is “אדם” who can be Makriv a Korbon, and one who is not called so, cannot be Makriv. This comes to exclude one who is a half of a Guf, for he is not complete and not called, “אדם.” Bereishis 5:2 “זכר ונקבה ברא אותם, ויקרא את שמם אדם” – When Odom and Chava were together, Hakodosh Boruch Hu had created both the Zochor and the Nekeivah, then they were called אדם. This was why Nadav and Avihu were punished, for they did not marry, and thus they were not allowed to bring Ketores and be Makriv Korbonos. It says in Bereishis Rabbah 11:8 that Shabbos went to Hakodosh Boruch Hu and said that all of the weekdays have a partner, and it does not. Hakodosh Boruch Hu told Shabbos that Shabbos does have a partner, Kneses Yisroel. The Gemara says that Klal Yisroel is called אדם, for it has a partner, Shabbos Kodesh, and because it has a partner is called, אדם. However, a non-Jew who heeds Shabbos is Chayiv Misa, for he is not called the partner of Shabbos, and is thus not called, אדם.
