For Hashem Yisbarach, Miracles Are Simple
The Kedushas Levi adds: “The הנס, בעל the one for whom the miracle was done, should not acknowledge the miracle, and he shouldn’t think that nature has been altered for his sake—but that it is a derech hateva, the regular course of nature, that Hashem performs miracles. For one who is wise, there is no difference in his eyes between oil burning and vinegar kindling... that the sea should rage or be calm... because for Hashem Yisbarach all these miracles are simple, and if so, it is no big deal for Him to make a miracle.”
We find people who did everything to grow their wealth, and they were truly successful in amassing a fortune—and then they lost everything without any real cause that could have been foreseen. On the other hand, we find people who didn’t invest much... they didn’t learn any special skill, there was no real reason for them to become wealthy, but they suddenly began to earn well.
The same applies to other areas, such as shidduchim. There was no reason for this person to have to wait for a shidduch, and yet he’s sitting and waiting. Then you have someone who no one dreamed would find a shidduch, and they managed to establish a beautiful home. We see this all the time.
