Although our Sages of blessed memory have said: “It is the manner of a man to conquer” yet have our Sages of blessed memory also said: “When a man brings wheat from the field, does he chew raw wheat?” It is important that the woman bakes the bread through which a man can be sustained through the “word of HaShem inside” the bread.
From this here, it can also be deduced (regarding the performance of Mitzvos) that the foremost objective is the element of ‘Nukvah’ in the Mitzvah; i.e. the actual performance is primary.
Just as it is with regards to a ‘Shiduch’ through which one can fulfil that which the Possuk states: ”Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it” so too with regards to the active performance of Mitzvos that as a result of performing Mitzvos in their perfect manner they can truly bring the words of the Possuk “fill the earth and subdue it” into actuality.
