Extended Life

Eliyahu had a health problem and the doctor predicted that he would only live for six more months. However, he went on to live for 30 more years! (He just recently passed away.) His son feels that this was in the merit of his great effort to pray at the synagogue every day, even though it was very hard for him because of his health problem.
