Birchas Hamazon Removes Divine Anger

The Be’er Heitiv (Orech Chaim 185:1) says in the name of the Chinuch that the reason there is no “ende fei“ in the entire Birchas Hamazon is because one who bentches with kavanah will not have to fear “af“ or “ketzef“ (Divine anger) and he will have an abundance of sustenance in an honorable way throughout his entire life.
