Fakeness Enters The Mind

Chazal say (Pesachim 119A) that “the possessions of their feet“ refers to a person’s money, which stands him up on his feet.

Someone once asked Rav Moshe of Kobrin zy”a why people place their money “on their heads“ (give it so much importance) when we see from Chazal that it belongs at one’s feet?

He answered, “Money that a person has in his wallet are not in his head. But money that is fake and only exist in a person’s imagination are constantly in his head.”
