This is also consistent with what is explained in Chassidus that the idea of sealing with a Boruch is a Hamshocha of a ‘reflected light’. This is also specifically to do with ‘down below’ because the seal, the returning light, returns from below back to above. From all that was discussed above it is apparent that the purpose of ‘Birkas Hamozon’ is that the blessings shall specifically be drawn right down below.
It is explained in Kabbala and Chassidus that Divine light interacts with the world in two distinct ways: ‘Or Yoshor’ - ‘Direct Light’ which shines from above to below and contracts level by level, in a gradual way. ‘Or Chozer’ - ‘Reflected Light’ rebounds back from below to above passing through all the created beings and worlds and ascends higher. Which is thanks to the Avodas Hashem achieved below which elevates the worlds and created beings so that they do not hinder and conceal the Divine light too much. Furthermore, the ‘Direct Light’ has an advantage in that it originates from a higher source whereas the advantage of the “Reflected Light” is that as it passes through the worlds, it becomes stronger and comes out more powerful. And not just remain abstract in spirituality.
