This above-mentioned concept is the Hamshocho in the state of ‘Kodoish’ as the Possuk says: קָד ש יִהְיֶה “It will be sacred”. The main intention as mentioned before however is, that it shall be drawn down into all the three states of ‘Kodoish’ and until [it reaches] the states of ‘Boruch K’vod HaShem Mimkomo’.

This shall be in a state of ‘Mokom’, and not just ‘Mokom’ meaning superiority and a high level, but in the [plain] simple form of Mokom meaning ‘space’. As well as in ‘time’ in its simple form, and not just a Spiritual ‘order of time’ or ‘order of changes’ or similar but in the [plain, literal and] actual meaning of time Mamosh!

[All this also pertains to] this concept [within] a person’s Avodas HaShem, thus, the simple meaning of the Possuk: וְנִקְדַּשְתִי בְתוֹךְ בְנֵי יִשְרָאֵל is the instruction about ‘Kiddush HaShem’ and refers to the concept of ‘Mesiras Nefesh’.

It has been explained in Tanya: That being occupied in Torah and Mitzvos in general is Mamosh a concept of Mesiras Nefesh. It transpires that the general concept of bringing down holiness amongst the B’nei Yisroel is through being generally occupied with Torah and Mitzvohs.

This is also what we customarily say from the Mishneh after studying Pirkei Ovos: הַּקָדוֹש בָרוּךְ הוּא לְזַּכוֹת אֶת רָצָה יִשְרָאֵל, לְפִיכָךְ הִרְבָה לָהֶם תוֹרָה וּמִצְוֹת “HaKodoish Boruch Hu wanted to make Yisroel meritorious and therefore He increased Torah and Mitzvos for them”.

‘Zakos’ (which normally means meritorious can also be explained as) similar to the word that means to purify and refine; that through the increase in Torah and Mitzvos can there [also] be a ‘Zakos Es Yisroel’, a refinement and purification of Yisroel on a much higher level.
