This Inyan is applicable to every single one of B’nei Yisroel, as the Alter Rebbe explains in Tanya that even a ‘Kal ShebeKalim’ and someone about whom the Talmud says is: ‘Full of Mitzvos like a pomegranate’ is willing to display self-sacrifice with Mesiras Nefesh to make a Kiddush HaShem.
It can be said that because ‘he is full of Mitzvos like a pomegranate’ [as the Talmud says] ‘He eats the inside and discards the husk’. This means that he is ‘Mevatel’ the clothes that conceal his insides and his intimacy. This is his Mesiras Nefesh. This brings him a Hamshocho of holiness from above in the same manner of ‘Discarding the husk’ without any covers.
As the Possuk states: וְל א־יִכָנֵף עוֹד מוֹרֶיךָ וְהָיוּ עֵינֶיךָ ר אוֹת אֶת־מוֹרֶיךָ “Your Teacher shall no longer be concealed from you, and your eyes shall see your Teacher” כִי־כוּלָם יֵדְעוּ אוֹתִי “For they shall all know Me”. This will occur to such an extent that the true existence and the created existence are ‘all one’, as is brought down in the explanations of the Zohar.
