Cooking Tip of the Week: Kotlets

In a saucepan place 680 grams of peeled and cubed potatoes. Season with 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp black pepper, coarse salt and cook covered for 15 minutes. Drain in colander and rinse with warm water. Let dry and mash well.

Beat 4 eggs until foamy. Add spices, meat and mashed potatoes to the eggs. Form into patties and bake at 120C. Heat oil in a frying pan, dredge patties in flour and cook till deep brown. Enjoy!
