“Immediately to Teshuvah, Immediately to Redemption.” Teshuvah can be, as the Zohar states: “In one moment, in a single instant”. Thus, the need for teshuva doesn’t delay the Redemption. For every moment one can have a thought of teshuvah, and thus, “immediately to Redemption.”
Yet one could argue this applies to oneself —what connection does it have to bringing Redemption for the world? The Rambam rules: through a single mitzvah—in deed, in speech, or thought—one can tip the scale for oneself and the world toward merit, thus bring deliverance for himself and the world!
