The TCSS (Torah Commission for Safety and Security) has released a new set of safety guidelines. Known as MAAKAH (Make All Attics Kosher and Harmless), the new rules require that all rooftops, porches and balconies be surrounded by sturdy safety-fences.
“We see a much broader message here,” says Mr. Hank Hardhat, leader of the Window Washer’s Union 73, which has been asking for safer working conditions for years. “Wear your helmet and buckle your seatbelt when horse/camel/donkey riding, lock up dangerous animals, and never climb on a shaky ladder -- it’s the MAAKAH law!”
