In Place of Him Twins

When Rav Duvid Moshe of Kretchnif Rechovot lost his son he was sorely pained, during the shiva the Kretshnifer ate Shabbos with his father in law, Rav Chaim Mordechai of Nadvorna Bnei Brak. As the Rebbe sang the evening song of the Arizal Azamer BiShvachin he said the words "ve'al chada tartei," in place of one, two he pointed at Rav Duvid Moshe. When he had twin sons, Rav Yisroel Nissan ztz'l and Rav Eliezer Zev, many saw this as an open berachah - in the place of the one who passed away, two, twin boys! Mazal Tov!
