Six days after He gave the Ten Commandments, HaShem made a cloud of thick smoke on top of Mount Sinai. Moshe climbed up to the very top of the mountain.
On the seventh day, HaShem called to Moshe from the cloud. Then He made a path in the cloud for Moshe to pass through.
Moshe went right into the cloud... and HaShem gave him two tablets made of precious sapphire stone.
Moshe stayed up on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights, learning the entire Torah from start to finish! He had the best study partner in the world -- HaShem.
