The Satmar Rov zy”a related that his father, the Kedushas Yomtov zy”a would say that when the week of Parshas Naso arrived at the beginning of the summer, his stomach would start to churn out of fear of the Yomim Noraim. He explained the pasuk of ‘Naso es rosh” to mean that when the Parshah of Naso arrived, one must start to prepare for “Rosh” Hashanah.

Similarly, it is related that a man who spent Shavuos with Rav Bunim of Peshischa zy”a came to see the Rebbe on Motzoei Yomtov to receive his bracha and Rav Bunim told him, “Do you realize that we will be blowing the shofar soon?” His intent was that right after Shavuos, one must start preparing for Rosh Hashanah.
