In the Brachah after the Amidah of Maariv, we recite Hamelech Hakadosh. Maftir is given to a learned and prominent person due to the special significance of this Haftorah.
One should try to attend a Shabbat Shuvah Drashah. Vihi Noam and V’atah Kaddosh are not recited on Motzei Shabbat.
