This week’s Torah portion begins, “You are standing today all of you in front of Hashem, your G-d...” and continues to list ten levels in the Jewish People. These ten levels also exist in every single Jew – the ten soul powers, corresponding to the ten Sefiros. Even on the Day of Judgment (Rosh Hashanah) we are standing, certain to win a favorable judgment, and standing as king – every Jew is king over all existence, since we receive from G-d, the King of kings of kings. As kings, we have the power to crown G-d as King on Rosh Hashanah, since we can relate to Him. Through receiving from the King of kings of kings, we receive everything just as a king gets everything without even any work on his part.
