He authored chiddushim on several mesechtos published as Neta Shaashuim.
He lived in Pinsk and in Zolkova. He was laid to rest in Zolkova on the first day of Rosh Hashanah 1760 (תקכ''א).
The Synagogue in Żółkiew was partially sponsored by Jan III Sobieski and designed by the royal architect Piotr Beber. It was constructed between 1692 and 1700.
