Getting Back the Collateral

This week’s Torah portion is about the Mishkan (Tabernacle), the temporary version of the Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple), that we had in the desert. The word “Mishkan” is like “Mashkon”, which means collateral. The Beis Hamikdash was taken as “collateral” in its two destructions. But a collateral is returned complete to its owner. The third Beis Hamikdash will include the perfection of both the first and second Beis Hamikdash, and also the Mishkan!
