Question

Novardok weekly | June 27, 2025

I just had some major siata dishmaya (help from Heaven). What should be my reaction?

Answer:

Feel loved by Hashem!

I recently heard of somebody that was looking for a "prat" to do, meaning an act done in order to "break the ice" and break a person's fear of people. So what did he decide on? To go over to one random "scary-looking" person a day, and to ask him: "Excuse me sir--how have you felt Hashem's love today?" The benefit is two-fold: number one he is raising awareness of just how much Hashem loves each and every one of us (much more than we could ever realize), and number two, he is breaking all of those "idols" around him, in order to allow him both to properly care for them and, above all, to truly live together with Hashem Himself.

And back to the question: yes, feeling loved by Hashem is #1(like the Chovos Halevavos ends off)!
