Rav Yechiel Teitelbaum Kolbuszowa Rav Rav of Kolbosov

A scion of the Uhjel dynasty the Yismach Moshe, Rav Yechiel was born on 10 Shevat 5628. His grandfather was the Yetev Lev, the Sigheter Rav, his mother Reitza Rubin was a scion of the Ropshitz dynasty a grandaughter to Rav Asher Yeshaya, Rav Naphtali's son in law.

When Rav Yechiel's father Rav Avrohom Aharon of Kolbasuv passed away on 12 Elul of 5670, he left behind in his tzavaah that they should pass on the mantle of leadership to his son, and install Rav Yechiel as the new Av Beis Din.

He was a holy tzadik steeped in davening and tefilah. He was martyred al kiddush Hashem by the nazis in the Holocaust on 22 Tammuz 5702. HY'D
