Personally, I was Zoche [merited] to eat many Shabbos Seudos at the table of the Tzaddik Reb Zalmen Brizel ZT"L, a Karliner Chosid in Yerusholayim. The whole Parsha Chumash and Rashi, was the entrance obligation. At the Seudah he gave everyone their individual Kiddush, Challos and a full Seudah. At the Seudah he would exclaim, "Kinderlach nisht iberlozen fun der Shabbosdigeh macholim, di Shabbosdigeh macholim zenin nisht azoy vi di macholim fun ah gantzeh voch ["Children please do not leave over from the Shabbos food, the Shabbos food is not like the food of the whole week”]. Tzadikim raised seemingly ordinary actions, to a higher level.
Minhag Chasidei Lelov, and other Kehillos, is to call out the Molad of Ellul and Tishrei, on Shabbos Mivorchim Ellul, since before Chodesh Tishrei there is no Shabbos Mivorchim.
This Shabbos is the Yohrtzeit of the first Skulener Rebbe ZY"A. Upon his release from communist Romania where he suffered immensely, there was a delay of his plane upon arrival on free soil. World Jewry stayed up late that night to await the news of his arrival. When he finally arrived, he held a speech in which he said, "Just as he kept everyone from sleeping, he will further keep them from sleep", saying that he has a vision and task to further strengthen Yiddishkeit worldwide.
