Tehillim Power

It can happen that a person davens for a salvation but the salvation doesn’t come about. However, through reciting tehillim, this salvation may be brought about. Why is that?

The Tosher Rebbe cites the Noam Elimelech that sometimes tefilla doesn’t bring the salvation you ask for because of some big kitrug (prosecution). However, through tehillim, you may be able to activate that salvation. Why? Because through tehillim, you connect to an olam gadol, a great world, called tehillah, which comes from the terminology of the pasuk תהל אור, flash light.

This world is entirely light and there is no satan (adversary) or pega ra (misfortune).
