Practical Judaism Judges at Your Gates

Living Moshiach | December 31, 2025

In this week’s Torah portion, we are commanded to “place judges at all your gates”.

On an individual level, each person has seven “gates”: two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and the mouth. We have to make sure they are all led according to the instructions of our holy Torah as explained by the Rebbe King Moshiach Shlita, judge and advisor of the generation, and by one’s own G-dly soul’s intellect (judge) and emotions (advisor). When we learn Torah, it should lead to action, expressed in our behavior – in our sight, hearing, smell, speech and taste.
