Daven Constantly, and Your Prayer Will Be Accepted

The root of the word tefillah connotes connection, because through tefillah a person connects himself to Hashem, and once that is accomplished, his tefillah will certainly make a difference. Hashem desires that His people daven to Him, and therefore one must never say, “I have tried many times and I was not answered at all.” Instead, one should say, “I’d better keep on davening, for eventually His mercy will be aroused. He wants my tefillah to be constantly on my lips, and then it will be accepted.”

(Zera Kodesh, Vayigash)
