And through making a sanctuary in the spiritual realm, which is the Avodah of these two ways: (1) performing Mitzvos and (2) studying Torah, we are meritorious that it shall bring about the: וְכֵן תַעֲשׂוּ “And so shall you do – לְדוֹרוֹת in future generations”.
In the eternal house of the future, about which the Possuk says: מִקְדָשׁ אֲדֹנָ' כוֹנְנוּ יָדֶיךָ “The sanctuary, HaShem which Your hands founded”. Because, the ‘Mishkon’ did not last forever, neither did the Beis Hamikdosh which Shlomo HaMelech built, last forever. It is specifically the third Beis Hamikdosh of the future which is what the Possuk refers to: מִקְדָשׁ אֲדֹנָ' כוֹנְנוּ יָדֶיךָ “The sanctuary, HaShem which Your hands founded” which will be an eternal ‘Bayis’ as is brought down in the Zohar.
But the stimulus for this comes from the Mishkon that Moshe built as the Possuk states: וְכֵן תַעֲשׂוּ “And so shall you do” as Rashi says: לְדוֹרוֹת “in future generations”. And may it be HaShem’s will, that very soon we will actually have the third Beis Hamikdosh. [This is proven] because we learn this concept in the Torah and the Torah is eternal. Regarding the matters of the Beis HaMikdosh, as they are in Torah, will not be changed.
