Vayomer Remembering the Miracles

The need to remember Yetzias Mitzrayim cannot be emphasized enough. It was during the Makkos and the events that followed that Hashem demonstrated His might and mastery over the universe: water, land, insects, animals, sky and weather, even the minds of human beings. When the Yam Suf split, even non-Jewish nations heard about it and were in awe. These miracles were unique, shown for once and for all. Hashem is not going to repeat them. Now it is our job to pass them down through the generations. We speak about them every day, but we also have a special night devoted to this purpose: Leil HaSeder.
