The Blessing of Yitzchok and the Refinement of Sparks

And this is the meaning of the words of the Possuk: וְיִתֶּן לְךָ הָאֱלֹקִים מִטַּל הַּשָמַּיִם ‘Tal’ being the first point in Yitzchok's blessing to Ya'acov. This refers to the 'Tal of Atik' because in order to refine Eisov's sparks a ‘Hamshocha’ from ‘Atik' is needed as mentioned earlier.

In order for there to be a Hamshocha from 'Atik' to below to such an extent that it could thus be able to refine the sparks of the Sitra Achra, this can only come through a Hamshocha of the essence of the Divine light of the Ein Sof which is even higher than 'Atik'. For 'Atik' itself, is detached and separated from the 'Seder Hishtalshelus' (the word 'Atik' comes from the word 'Neh'tak' meaning detached and separated) and therefore it cannot [ordinarily] be drawn down below.

Notwithstanding this, there is the possibility and this is the only way, that it can be drawn down below. This is via the essence of the Divine light of the ‘Ein Sof’ which is not defined by any parameters.

Accordingly, the virtue and ‘Chiddush’ of Yitzchok's blessing וְיִתֶּן לְךָ הָאֱלֹקִים over the blessing וַּיְבָרֶּךְ אֱלֹקִים אֶּת יִצְחָק can now be understood. This is because, the blessing of וְיִתֶּן לְךָ הָאֱלֹקִים is in order that there should be a ‘Hamshocha’ below to refine the sparks of Eisov, and this ‘Hamshocha’ is from the essence of the light of the ‘Ein Sof’ as mentioned.

This is why the Possuk says וְיִתֶּן לְךָ הָאֱלֹקִים (‘Ho’Elokim’ meaning the known Elokim) referring to a lofty Divine level called the הֶּעְלֶּם הָעַּצְמִי of the ‘Ein Sof’ from where the impetus and energy to refine comes from.
