Being Directly Involved in Hashem Always Brings Loads of Rachamim

So the entire Makkas Barad was a Chesed, since it came directly from Hashem. (After the Ma'aseh Eigel, a Malach got involved as a punishment, since being directly involved in Hashem always brings loads of Rachamim). With Makkas Barad, Paroh got himself an Elul and a Har Sinai experience, which helped him do Teshuva more than any other Makka.

R' Shach Zatzal would always quote the Rambam, who says that he’d rather teach Emuna than any other form of learning Torah. This makes you directly involved with Hashem, and you have much more Rachamim in your life.

The Malbim in Sefer Yirmiyahu says: ה'בָּרוּךְ הַגֶבֶר אֲשֶר יִּבְטַח בַ ירמיה יז ז “Blessed is the man who trusts in Hashem” means that you get a special Bracha when you have Bitachon only in Hashem without any Hishtadlus. He says the same thing in Sefer Tehilim on the Passuk: אַשְ רֵי הַגֶבֶר אֲשֶר שָּם ה' מִּבְטַחוֹ תהלים מ ה that when you have Bitachon only in Hashem, you are: אַשְ רֵי truly fortunate. How important it is to spend extra time alone with Hashem, or learning Shaar HaBitachon. You are in a different world, and you don’t suffer like other people. And you can become quite a Baal Mofes (miracle worker).
