Birthday wishes; Chanukah message; Visit during the Encounter with Chabad weekend, you will gain a lot and answer questions

By the Grace of G-d
8th Day of Chanukah, 5730
Brooklyn, N. Y.
Brandeis University
Waltham, Mass.
Greeting and Blessings

I duly received your letter of the 29th of Kislev, in which you write about your forthcoming birthday.

First of all, I want to wish you a year of Hatzlocho in every respect, especially in the essential aspect of receiving aid from On High to fulfill your good resolution to go from strength to strength in Torah and Mitzvoth.

This is also one of the main messages of the Chanukah lights, which we kindled in growing numbers from day to day, indicating the need to spread the light of Torah and Mitzvoth in a growing measure, since it is written, “A Mitzvo is a lamp and the Torah is light.”

May G-d grant that you should have good news to report in all above.
With blessing,

P.S. With regard to the matter of making a visit here, I would suggest that you should communicate with Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, with a view to participating in the forthcoming "Encounter with Chabad" during the weekend of the 26th-29th of December. I am confident that you will gain a great deal from this experience, and may find an answer to many questions.
