Rav Meshulom Zushe Twersky Czernobyler Rebbe (Cheshvan 17, 5748 / 1987 - 37th Yahrzeit)

Rav Meshulom Zushe Twersky, the Chernobyler Rebbe of Bnei Brak, was an eighth-generation direct descendant of Rav Menachem Nachum of Chernobyl. Rav Meshulom Zushe was born in Mozyr, Minsk. He lived and learned with his maternal grandfather, the Admor of Tchechov, Rav Yeshaya Halberstam, the youngest son of the Divrei Chaim. In 1959, he moved his court to Bnei Brak. He was succeeded by his son, Rav Menachem Nachum.
