Rav Chaim Yeshaya Schneerson (Kislev 16, 5681 / 1920 - 103rd Yahrzeit)
Rav Chaim Yeshaya was the son of Rav Sholom Dov Shneerson of Ritzitza, and the grandson of Rav Yehuda Leib of Kapust, a scion of the Chabad Lubavitcher dynasty. He became the son-in-law of Rav Mordechai Dov of Hornesteipel.
From 5654, he served as Rav of Paritsch and from 5664 as Rav of Roman. He was among the greatest Chabad Rabbonim of Russia. One of his halachic responsa is found in Vayevorech Dovid by his brother-in-law Rav Boruch Dovid of Klinkovitz.
