Three months after the Stoliner shul in Bnei Brak’s building inauguration, Reb Yidel called Mr. Drebin to inform him that he was in Boro Park with the Stoliner Rebbe. “Why don’t you come over and get the bracha you deserve?”
Frankly, going to a Rebbe for a bracha was not his style, but declining would be offending his cousin. So, Mr. Drebin went to the Rebbe and brought along a friend who hadn’t had children for many years so that he too could get a bracha.
When they got to the Rebbe, the friend poured out his heart, explaining how he went to all the doctors and all the specialists in the field and just hit brick wall after brick wall. The Rebbe stared at the men silently for a long time, and then laughed. They had no idea what the Rebbe thought was so funny about what they were facing, especially when the Rebbe laughed again a minute later. Until this day, they still don’t know what the Rebbe was doing, but nine months later, he was gifted with twins, a boy and a girl.
Two laughs, two babies. And ever since, he’s had more children, B”H.
