Sipurei Tzadikim

Once a group of Avreichim were sitting in the Achsania (Hospitality) in Kotzk, and they were speaking of the greatness of the Kotzker ZY”A. One Yungerman from Lodz exclaimed, “It is not possible that the greatness of the Nevi’im was greater than our Rebbe”. On the instant he uttered these words from his mouth, Feivel the Mishamesh came and called loudly, “Where is the Yungerman from Lodz, he should come into the Rebbe”. As he was standing on the threshold The Kotzker came towards him and said with his holy tongue thundering from fire, “Herr (Sir), you want to know the Madreigos (High levels) of the Nevi'im, do we have a Hasogoh (understanding) in their levels of greatness?!”

Sefer Siach Sarfei Kodesh

Once the Chossid called Reb Avrohom Yulever A”H from Plotzk was at the Great Rebbe of Kotzk ZY”A. The Kotzker asked him what is your trade? He answered that he bakes bread. Answered him The Kotzker ZY”A, “You are assured for bread as long as you live”. And so it was, he lived close to 100 years and he had Parnossoh adequately.
