Constantly Write Your Hashgacha Pratis on How Hashem Saved You Since You Davened And or Had Bitachon

Bitachon Weekly | June 27, 2025

Our very first and most important Mitzva of Emuna is: אָ נֹכִ י יךָ א שֶ ר הוֹצֵ אתִ יךָ מֵ אֶ רֶ ץ קֶ אֱ לֹה' מִ צְ רַ יִם יתרו כ ב I am Hashem your Power, who took you out of Eretz Mitzrayim from the house of slaves. The very essence of our belief in Hashem is a gratefulness for saving us from our Tzaros. How important it is for a person to constantly write his Hashgacha Pratis, on how Hashem saved him since he davened and/or had Bitachon.

No more complaining about Tzaros. They are tools to make you closer to Hashem, when you overcome them. We can assume that Dovid was always Chazzering (reviewing) his Yeshuos, and this helped him become so fearless, despite his many Tzaros. When he killed the lions and the bears, he made a suit out of the skin of the sheep whom he rescued from their mouths.

And when he killed Golyas, he put Golyas’ giant sword in the Mishkan as a Zecher for the Ness, and Golyas’ other weapons he took home as a Zecher for the Ness. When he had a big Ness and destroyed a band of Amaleikim, he took all the spoils of Amalek, and he gave loads of it to the Yidden so they should have a Zecher for the Ness. (Malbim).

We see how Dovid was constantly involved in remembering all the Yeshuos of Hashem and he was always reminding himself and others about all these Yeshuos. It would be a great idea if there would be newspapers that are heavily involved in reminders of all those.
