Serenity in a Restless World

Living Moshiach | June 27, 2025

The Torah brought serenity to the world by revealing the one purpose in everything – for the Jews to fulfill the commandments of the Torah and influence the non-Jews to keep their Seven Noachide Commandments, thereby making the world a home for G-d. The world is a restless place, defined by constant changes and endless details which can “break” a person. But if one feels the one goal in all the myriad details of one’s life, one is at peace.

The Torah was given in the desert. The desert is the epitome of restlessness in the world; a place where humans do not settle. The Torah brought peacefulness and serenity even into the desert, and most certainly into the rest of the world as well.
